Sydney J. Gales

Sydney is a stage manager based out of Nashville, TN. She is currently attending Trevecca University where she is pursuing a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and a B.S. in Organizational Communication with a minor in Interpersonal Communication. She hopes to attend graduate school to receive her M.F.A. in Stage Management.

Sydney has worked in educational theatre and community theatre as both a stage manager and an assistant stage manager. Sydney has recently made the jump to opera as an assistant stage manager intern with Nashville Opera.

Outside of stage management, Sydney has been a lighting electrician, costume designer, wig designer, and A2 among other technical positions.

In addition to theatre, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends, and baking. If you do a show with her, you may even get to try some of her cookies!
